In use as of May 2025; a transition to the Glock 47 was approved by the City Council Finance Committee. Current status not re-verified.
FingerLakes1.com reported that the City Council Finance Committee approved the police department's plan to move from Glock 23 .40-caliber sidearms to Glock 47 9mm pistols, paid with forfeiture funds. The Glock 47 is not entered because only a committee approval was reported.
