The sheriff's introduction to the 2019 annual report says the office issued sidearms to deputies that year for the first time in its history: Generation 5 Glock handguns. The training section says deputies were trained on the new Gen 5 Glock with an RMR optic. No model number is given. Current status not re-verified.
