Forest Heights (MD) PD Policy 306 (Lexipol, 12/21/2022) names the Smith & Wesson M&P9 2.0 as the authorized department-issued handgun and the Remington 870P 12-gauge as the department shotgun. The department patrol rifle is listed as a Smith & Wesson AR-15 .223 without a model (not added). Current status not re-verified.
