The Hobbs (New Mexico) Police Department rules and directives were published on DocumentCloud in 2019. The weapons and defensive equipment directive (revision dated November 8, 2016) states that each commissioned officer is issued an approved handgun from a list: the Sig Sauer P226, P229 and P320 in .40 caliber, plus a Sig Sauer .380 model.
