Issued .40 duty handgun, replaced with newer Glock 22s in 2008 (Indianapolis Star, 2007).

An Indianapolis Star report from 2007, republished by Police1, said IMPD would replace its aging issued .40 Glock 22 handguns with newer Glock 22s in 2008, keeping the gun used for more than a decade. Current status not re-verified. IMPD may have changed models or calibers since then.
