Leesburg (Virginia) Police Department General Order 131 (Firearms, effective October 2023, next review September 2026) lists the approved firearms for sworn officers: Glock 45 and 43X 9mm pistols, the Remington 870 shotgun and the Colt M4 carbine (or a similar carbine meeting the armorer's specifications).
