Per directive revised 2020-09-17. Current status not re-verified.
Maryland Capitol Police directive OPS 08.03 (revised 09/17/2020) says the department-issued primary firearm is the Glock 17 9mm and that secondary handguns are not permitted on duty. Patrol rifles are covered by a broad manufacturer approval list (not added). Current status not re-verified.
