Remington 870 Police Magnum listed in the department-issued firearms specifications; the order directs that shotguns be carried in patrol vehicles. Order dated 2018. Current status not re-verified.
The Norfolk (Virginia) Police Department general orders manual, published on DocumentCloud in 2023, includes G.O. OPR-110 Firearms. Its department-issued firearms and ammunition specifications attachment is dated February 1, 2018, and lists the Remington 870 Police Magnum shotgun. The order directs that shotguns be carried in patrol vehicles. The scanned handgun and rifle entries were not legible enough to record and are omitted. The order dates from 2018. Current status not re-verified.
