The Picayune (Mississippi) Police Department General Order 1.3, Use of Force (effective January 24, 2022), was released through a MuckRock records request in 2024 and published on DocumentCloud. It states that officers will be issued either a Glock Model 17 or Glock Model 19 (9mm) as the standard duty firearm. Current status not re-verified.
