The Scott Township (Allegheny County, Pennsylvania) Police Department policy manual was released in redacted form through a MuckRock records request in 2024 and published on DocumentCloud. Its version history runs through October 2017. The manual names the Glock Model 17 Gen4 (9mm) as the department's official issued firearm, the Colt M-4 Commando as the issued patrol rifle and the Mossberg 500 as the issued shotgun. Current status not re-verified.
