Department SOP 1100.10 says sworn members are issued a Glock 22 or 23 (.40) as the primary service weapon, and that officers who complete patrol-rifle training are issued the Rock River Arms LAR-15 LE R-4 5.56mm patrol carbine. The policy was revised in June 2013; the current status was not re-verified.
