Per Tarrant County Law Enforcement Firearms Policy submitted to Commissioners Court on 2024-11-19; applies to weapons-certified non-peace-officer Detention Bureau personnel. Adoption not separately confirmed.

The county-wide law enforcement firearms policy presented to the Tarrant County Commissioners Court (November 19, 2024) limits weapons-certified non-peace-officer Sheriff's Office Detention Bureau personnel to Glock Models 17, 19 or 45. For peace officers it lists approved manufacturers rather than a single issued model, so those are not recorded here.
