A Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents report (February 2026 meeting materials) for the University Police Department, Southern Command (UNLV, CSN and Nevada State University) lists Colt M4 patrol rifles in its current weapons inventory. Its handguns are described only as Glock, Springfield and Smith & Wesson semi-automatic handguns in various calibers, so no handgun model is entered. An inventory shows what the department holds, not that every officer carries it.
