Department-owned service handgun; board approved converting it to red-dot-ready in March 2024. Current status not re-verified.
The police chief's memo in the March 11, 2024 township board minutes describes the department-owned Glock 45 handguns as officers' duty weapons. It proposes converting them to optic-ready slides with Holosun red dots, Surefire X300T lights and new holsters. The board approved the upgrade by unanimous roll-call vote. Current status not re-verified.
