Authorized patrol rifle issued by the department per Policy 414 (manual dated January 2021). Current status not re-verified.
The Brooklyn Park (Minnesota) Police Department policy manual (Lexipol, dated January 22, 2021) was released through a MuckRock records request and published on DocumentCloud. Policy 414 names the Smith & Wesson M&P15 as the authorized patrol rifle issued by the department. The handgun provision names only the manufacturer and is omitted. Current status not re-verified.
