In service since about 2009 (reported).

Duty pistol of the Bundespolizei (staff magazine cover story on P30 acceptance testing; the 2019 Bundestag answer names the P30CM colour-marker training version). Widely reported as chosen in 2008 and delivered from 2009, replacing the SIG Sauer P6.

Pooled long gun held per Bundespolizei directorate together with helmet and vest (Bundestag answer, 2019). Bought 1966-1992 and being upgraded (reflex sight, light, rails, stock; makes not named). A 5.56 mid-range weapon to replace it is being procured (2026 planning notice, no award yet).
