As ofOct 10, 2026

Approved 5-0 on Jan. 24, 2023 (minutes); not re-verified since.

In January 2023 the commission approved a sole-source buy from GT Distributors to replace the department's 2012-era .40 handguns. The staff report keeps 'the Glock handgun as a standard issue weapon' and moves to 9mm. The Glock 17 Gen5 MOS (fixed sights) is the main line on the quote. Optic-ready MOS slides are bought, but no optic is listed in the quote.
