As ofOct 9, 2026

Transition made in 2026 (Police1, Sept. 1, 2026); exact start date not stated.

Agency-issued GLOCK G45 Gen5 COA (GLOCK x Aimpoint integrated package, A-CUT slide). Selected over the M&P 2.0 with ACRO after the agency decided in 2025 to replace the SIG P320; Gen5 sourced instead of Gen6 because of lead time. Agency policy (Nov. 12, 2025) also lets deputies carry approved personally owned 9mm pistols (Glock, S&W M&P, SIG P-series excluding P320, Walther PDP, Staccato/2011) with a red-dot optic after inspection, training and qualification.
