As of 2018; not re-verified (later Regents/Clery reports don't name the handgun).

The Board of Regents' 2017 campus safety report (Apr. 2018) says 'UIPD officers carry SigSauer 9mm handguns', and the Daily Iowan (Feb. 2018) names the model: 'All officers carry the P320 handgun' (upgraded under SIG's 2017 voluntary program). The model rests on student news, so Reliable secondary. Not confirmed after 2018.
