The Vilas County (Wisconsin) Sheriff's Office firearms policy (Lexipol, dated October 21, 2019) was released through a MuckRock records request and published on DocumentCloud. It names the Glock Model 22 as the authorized office-issued handgun (with the Glock 22 or 23 approved) and the Remington 870 as the issued shotgun. The patrol rifle provision lists several Colt and Smith & Wesson models and is omitted. Current status not re-verified.
