Lancaster County (Nebraska) contract C-21-0365: the Sheriff's award recommendation for Bid 21-110 (Handguns) to Sioux Sales Company covers Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 LE Optic Ready 5-inch pistols, Trijicon RMR Type 2 (3.25 MOA, adjustable LED) red dots and holsters, with a trade-in of Smith & Wesson M&P40 pistols. The County Board approved the award on May 25, 2021; the sheriff said handgun replacement is on a 10-year cycle. This is a purchase approval, not a confirmation of issue.
