Named in GJ-23 (Briefing Board 25-18, April 2025) as an authorized secondary service handgun for non-uniformed and off-duty personnel; authorized, not necessarily issued.

MCSO Office Policy GJ-23 (Firearms), as revised by Briefing Board 25-18 (April 14, 2025), defines a secondary service handgun as one with a barrel under four inches, 'to include a Glock 19', usable by non-uniformed and off-duty personnel. The policy's primary-handgun list is not reproduced here.
