Game wardens' issued handgun after the transition from .40 caliber (2024 report).

The Mississippi state report in the SEAFWA Law Enforcement Section 2024 bulletin says the MDWFP Law Enforcement Bureau completed its transition from .40 caliber handguns to the 9mm Glock G45 MOS, and began issuing Holosun optics (model not named) to cadets and firearms instructors.

The Mississippi state report in the SEAFWA Law Enforcement Section 2023 bulletin says sworn personnel had been issued the new Glock 45 and Glock 43 in 9mm. The report does not say how the Glock 43 is used, so it is listed as Other.
