First issued to Police Academy students in October 2016 (bought since 2015). In September 2026 the force awarded a new 10-year framework agreement for an expected up to 5,000 more SFP9s.

Standard service pistol. The interior ministry announced it as the replacement for the HK P2000; P2000s are swapped one-for-one as they wear out, so both are still in service during the switch. The SFP9 variant (e.g. TR or SF) is not stated in the official sources.
