A bid notice is not proof of issue. In August 2023 The Intelligencer reported the department was using SIG Sauer .40-caliber handguns and wanted to exchange them for 9mm SIGs. In February 2025 the paper reported the county commission approved new handguns to replace ones used for about nine years, without naming the make. The P320 is therefore entered as previous; the current handgun is not identified. P320F (full-size) in .40 S&W.
