The Stafford County (Virginia) Sheriff's Office general orders manual was published on DocumentCloud in 2023. G.O. 10-03, Authorized Departmental Weapons (amended January 24, 2022), states that the Glock Model 17 9mm pistol is the approved duty handgun for all sworn personnel. The manual's issued-equipment list includes a Remington 870 shotgun 'if applicable'. Personally owned secondary handgun options are omitted.
