New Glock handguns with red-dot optics; council approved the purchase in August 2025. The article gives conflicting calibers (.45 and 9mm); model not stated.

The Rensselaer Republican reported that the city council approved the police chief's request for new Glock handguns with red-dot optics, replacing handguns bought around 2016. The article calls them '.45 Glock handguns' in one place and '9mm handguns' in another, so only the make is entered.
